The Non-GMO Label Index serves as a global, independent, and comprehensive resource dedicated to the categorization, verification, and analysis of Non-GMO Labels worldwide. Our mission is to empower the Non-GMO community and the public by providing transparent, accurate, and standardized label information regarding Non-GMO Label certification.

2. Core Principles

All activities conducted under the umbrella of nongmolabelindex.org are governed by the following four pillars:

  • Integrity: We provide unbiased information. Our listings are based on factual criteria and verified certification standards or criterias, independent of commercial influence.
  • Transparency: We believe the consumer has the right to know what lies behind a label. We disclose the methodologies, criteria, and origins of the labels indexed on our platform.
  • Objectivity: We treat all recognized certification organizations and client organizations with equal scrutiny, ensuring that our index remains a neutral ground for comparison.
  • Accountability: We take responsibility for the data we publish and are committed to rectifying any inaccuracies promptly.

3. Information Accuracy and Standards

To maintain international standards of excellence, the Non-GMO Label Index adheres to the following data protocols:

  • Verification: We strive to ensure that every label listed is cross-referenced with the relevant certification body’s current standards.
